About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager of Dining and Catering to support the leadership of the food service operations for an independent school in Southborough, MA. This leader will oversee day‑to-day service delivery, manage operational systems and safety standards, and support a high‑quality, student‑centered dining program. The Operations Manager will partner closely with school leadership, guide and develop frontline teams, and ensure excellence across production, service, inventory, and overall customer experience. This position provides an excellent work-life balance, with a mostly Monday-Friday schedule. At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions to partnered K‑12 schools. Requirements

  • have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively
  • have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
  • can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
  • ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum
  • Management Experience - 2 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
