About The Position

Sodexo is hiring a Food Operations Manager 2 for our partnership with a school district in the Dallas-Fort Worth area
The Food Operations Manager will work with their team to implement and maintain Sodexo programs/systems/procedures for schools, supported by culinary and training teams.
This is a key leadership role in establishing and maintaining an exceptionally high level of food service operational standards.

Valid Driver’s License Required.

Requirements

• a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively
• culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
• ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
• ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
• Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience - 2 yearsMinimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Nice To Haves

• previous experience working within a K-12 environment preferred
