Sodexo is seeking a well-rounded operations enthusiast to join the team as a Food Operations Manager 2 at ECU Health Duplin Hospital in Kenansville, NC. This is an 81-bed acute care facility that supports patient services, catering, and our retail café. Requirements

Contract foodservice management experience in a healthcare environment
Culinary production experience
Strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
Ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
Working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
Work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills
Previous supervisory experience
Ability to work collaboratively
Can manage multiple priorities
Demonstrate professional communication skills
A passion for a high level of customer service
Optimistic attitude with an enthusiastic and energetic personality
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Responsibilities

Overseeing a team of 20 and all aspects of the food service operation
Responsible for purchasing, weekly financials, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
Ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
Achieve company and client financial targets and goals
