About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Food Operations Manager to lead dining room operations at Luther Manor in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin . Luther Manor is a not-for-profit Life Plan Community situated in a beautiful, park-like setting with gardens and open green spaces, yet close to the city’s culture and conveniences. We’re looking for a hospitality-driven professional with strong front-of-house leadership experience and a passion for mentoring and training staff. Typical shift is 9:30am - 6:30pm, may vary with every other weekend coverage. Bring your passion for hospitality to a team that values excellence, community, and care.

Requirements

• a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement and customer service skills, as well as previous restaurant management or senior dining experience
• the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
• the ability to drive employee success to enhance the value of the food and nutrition team
• the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
• Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
• Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Responsibilities

• oversee day-to-day front of house operations for an on-site restaurant and two dining rooms
• manage meal tickets and ensures timeliness of delivery
• manage a front-of-house team of approximately 25 staff members
• deliver high quality food services for resident satisfaction
• develop and maintain client and customer relationships
• ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents and guests
• ensure Sodexo standards are met
