About The Position

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future. GGG is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Food Labeling Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support the team in meeting package development project timelines/deadlines with a focus on regulatory documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Nutrition, Food Science, or related field
  • 0-1 years of related experience in the food industry
  • Familiarity with USDA & FDA labeling regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat; Genesis R&D software is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent proofreading/editing skills
  • Possess successful organizational, analytical, and time-management skills

Responsibilities

  • Support multiple food labeling and packaging initiatives by collecting, organizing, and tracking regulatory documentation across cross-functional teams
  • Assist with updating and maintaining labeling-related data and corresponding ingredient specification information in internal databases (Genesis R&D)
  • Perform preliminary document reviews against established internal guidelines to identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information
  • Support the documentation process for packaging artwork reviews by verifying content alignment with approved specifications at various stages of the workflow
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to request, receive, and track required documentation, ensuring timely follow-up
  • Assist with packaging and case label audits by comparing finished product documentation against approved specifications and internal records
  • Maintain awareness of current U.S. food labeling and traceability requirements and apply established guidance when organizing and reviewing documentation
  • Update workflow and tracking systems for label and product review activities to support visibility and compliance reporting
  • Maintain a centralized filing system/database of supporting documentation, specifications, case labels, and final packaging required for regulatory compliance and audits
