Ideal candidates are highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented with at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, they have strong business aptitude and can strategize the entire food and beverage vision and process, down to following through on training, supervising, planning, and execution. Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays, as needed. Our team has made a conscious effort to ensure strong protocols are in place to keep you and our patrons safe, so you can focus on the customer experience, camaraderie, and dining room management. This is a seasonal position, approximately June-August. This position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the club and its members. Requirements

  • Must have 1-2 years of supervisory experience
  • Must have strong sales orientation
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of pertinent health regulations
  • Must have food and beverage experience
  • Must have strong business aptitude
  • Must have strong service orientation
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Daily management of the food and beverage department
  • Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served
  • Direct and assist with set-up, preparation and execution of special events
  • Assist the General Manager in supervising, scheduling, and developing bartenders, cooks, and beverage cart attendants
  • Maintain cost controls and conduct monthly inventory
  • Follow the PO buying process for food and beverage ordering
  • Train front line staff on quality assurance and appropriate guest service
  • Perform daily walk-throughs to ensure full compliance with the Department of Health regulations
  • Comply with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire, and other local/state laws
  • Follow correct closing procedures and appropriate money handling practices (we will be cashless).
  • Prepares food and tends bar as needed
  • Ensures that high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained throughout the kitchen and bar at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
