Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the F&B Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations in the Food & Beverage Outlets and In Room Dining. This position is responsible for maintaining sanitation standards, assisting servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods, assisting with menu planning, and supervising outlets where applicable. Responsibilities include ensuring guest and colleague satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Maintain high level of customer focus through the ability to develop and sustain productive customer relations; actively seeking information to understand and address customers’ needs. Handle guest issues / complaints Set high standards of performance for self and others; assumes responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks. Assure that standards of quality and procedures established for the Food & Beverage Department are understood and implemented in all food and beverage outlets and departments Assist with training initiatives and programs for the continuing development of job skills for all team members of the Food & Beverage Department Coordinate on a day to day basis with outlet managers the smooth running of the operation Ensure all equipment, furnishing, service ware, and other physical assets within the Food & Beverage Department are properly purchased, accounted for, used, secured and maintained Assure that the safety, sanitation and security program within the department Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation Follow all safety and sanitation policies Ensure fire code compliance Any other job tasks that may be assigned Candidates must be available to work morning, mid-day, and evening shifts based on operational requirements. Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following: Constant standing and walking throughout shift Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps Ability to perform physical labor for 8 hours at one time
