About The Position

This role is responsible for the successful coordination of functions, including client (internal and external) liasion, dining operations and function marketing materials. Monday-Friday day shifts with occasional evening and weekend shifts. Variety as you work across functions, residential and retail outlets Oversee quality service and events in a professional, well-equipped environment. Chartwells are specialists in providing catering and hospitality services in education. Our goal is to provide engaging and nutritious dining solutions tailored to support academic achievement at the highest levels. THE POSITION Supervise daily food and beverage service across dining areas and events. Lead and support a team of catering staff to ensure high service standards. Monitor compliance with food safety, hygiene, and presentation standards. Liaise with school staff and stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.

Requirements

3 years' experience in food and beverage service
Experience in buffet, formal dining, and canape functions
Experience in POS and cash reconciliation procedures
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Able to communicate effectively in the workplace amongst colleagues and clients
Proven experience providing a warm, friendly and welcoming service to customers and clients
Has Responsible Service of Alcohol
Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, allergen awareness and service standards.
Experienced in multiple styles of catering
Organised, reliable, and confident managing service in a busy environment.
