About The Position

We are seeking an A.M. Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Palm Beach team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for working the food and beverage department in a supervisory capacity, being cross-utilized in other food and beverage outlets as necessary. The Supervisor will train and motivate staff to ensure the highest standard of service and presentation. This role will also fill in as needed, to ensure the utmost in guest service while adhering to hotel and Forbes standards. This position is an AM position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays. We have a full-time position available.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Minimum 2-year(s) experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or Manager.
  • Food handling certificate.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Ability to provide legible communication.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
  • Must possess strong leadership qualities.
  • Ability to understand guests' service needs.
  • Ability to thrive during very high levels of business.
  • Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to guests within any given period of time.
  • Ability to focus attention on details.
  • Ability to suggestively sell restaurant menu items, beverages and wines.
  • Ability to access and input information into Micros system.
  • Ability to maintain good coordination while serving orders quickly.
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time in extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
  • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service.
  • Any previous culinary training.
  • Ability to communicate in a second language, preferably Spanish.
  • Certification in alcoholic awareness program.
