About The Position

The Food & Beverage Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our food and beverage department, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This position is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to various facets of food and beverage service, including inventory management, customer service, and event coordination. The intern will collaborate closely with experienced team members to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency are maintained. Through this role, the intern will develop a strong understanding of industry best practices and operational workflows. Ultimately, the intern will contribute to enhancing guest satisfaction while building foundational skills for a future career in the food and beverage industry.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a hospitality, culinary, or related program.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a food and beverage or hospitality setting.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
• Knowledge of beverage preparation and mixology basics.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverage items according to company standards.
• Support inventory tracking and stock replenishment to ensure availability of supplies.
• Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and address inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to set up and break down event spaces and dining areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and dining areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
