About The Position

This position is part of our Extended Season , requiring availability from early May through the first week of January 2027. Applicants must be able to commit to working during this entire time frame. This position is available for those ages 16+. Job Description: This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of assigned location in compliance with health code, safety, and park and company operating standards. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Follow proper food handling procedures per Food Handling SOP. Take and fill guest orders and requests in a timely and friendly manner. Promptly and courteously greet each guest with a smile, eye contact, and good body language. Thank them for coming. Maintain food stand cleanliness per Cleaning and Sanitation SOP (Standard Operating Procedure). Operate a variety of food equipment according to Safety Training Plan while using required PPE. Understand time and temperature sheets and complete hourly. Knowledge of stand menu, recipes, and prices at assigned locations. Follow all procedures & standards such as portion control, suggestive selling, clocking in/out properly, and completion of tasks in a timely and accurate manner. Prepare and serve food that complies with expected quality, quantity, presentation and state health code requirements. Consistently operate food stands per SOP, including completing stand opening and closing procedures including restocking and organizing work area. Clean and sanitize work areas, guest dining areas, equipment, utensils, dishes/silverware, as well as sweep, scrub or mop floors, trash removal, and cleaning windows as needed. Know and follow all procedures regarding the execution any Tasting/Dining Passport, Meal Vouchers, Drink Wristbands, other internal vouchers as implemented. Follows All Host Safety Standards and General Safety Training guidelines and uses associated injury prevention measures. Report any issues (guest concerns, equipment operation, food prep, etc.) to Command Base or supervisor.

Requirements

  • Positive attitude.
  • Completion of Food & Beverage Food Safety training and Allergen training.
  • Completion of TIPS alcohol training, if applicable.
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance by following grooming and uniform standards in Employee Handbook. Food & Beverage specific guidelines will be given at time of interview and job offer.
  • Must be compliant with park-wide hygiene standards.
  • Knowledge of food allergens, as detailed in Allergen and Ingredient binder located at each food stand.
  • Ability to complete cooking tasks (if assigned) in accordance with proper food handling procedures.
  • Strong understanding of and focus on safety and guest service.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and effective manner.
  • Ability to interact with guests, including enforcing park policies in a positive and friendly manner.
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of safety, guest service, efficiency, and cleanliness.
  • Ability to treat coworkers and guests with dignity and respect.
  • Ability to constantly improve.
  • Flexible availability with strong focus on punctuality and the ability to consistently report for all scheduled shifts.
