Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Post secondary education preferred
  • Working knowledge of Point of Sales (POS) systems and operations
  • Working knowledge of health, safety, and beverage service regulations
  • Previous experience in a food and beverage coordination or similar role
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in computer software applications, including MS Office
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations and service techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Executive Chef to ensure procurement par levels are kept and pricing, quality, and service of each vendor are monitored quarterly to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Approaches all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Assists the Director of Food and Beverage tasks related to the Food and Beverage operations, as needed.
  • Attend Food and Beverage meetings with the Director of Food and Beverage and provide updates to any and all projects, procurement related issues, and relative Food and Beverage topics on a weekly basis.
  • The creation and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets and databases outlining cost of essential products i.e., coffee, tea, bottled beverages, china, glassware, linen, etc.
  • Assist in the monthly inventory of china, glass, silver, bottled beverages, and dry goods.
  • Create waste tracking sheets for the kitchen and bar, monitor regularly and update monthly for tracking purposes.
  • Performs a thorough and accurate monthly inventory as well as random inventories throughout each month, utilizing approved spreadsheets and/or inventory programs.
  • Liaisons with vendors to ensure goods of poor quality or goods received in error are promptly returned and/or credit is received.
  • Works closely with the Food and Beverage managers to ensure procurement needs are evaluated regularly.
  • Ensures all menus are kept up to date and accurate in our database.
  • Assists in updating all advertising in the Food & Beverage outlets to reflect the upcoming events and/or specials.
  • Conducts BEO Menu Maintenance as needed.
  • Coordinates property uniform inventory and distribution.
  • Participates in weekly meetings with F&B management.
  • Assists in the outlets as needed in a supporting role.
  • Accurately perform administrative tasks as required.
