About The Position

Directly assists F&B management team in directing and coordinating food service facilities, acts as MOD (Manager on Duty,) as needed, and provides clerical and administrative support to the Food and Beverage Department.

Requirements

  • AA Degree
  • Three years’ experience in hospitality / food service
  • OR 5 years of progressively responsible F&B experience
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission.
  • Washington State Food Worker Card
  • Class 12 Mixologist Permit

Responsibilities

  • Assist Food & Beverage Management in implementing established procedures for the Food & Beverage Department.
  • Administer the Food & Beverage policies and procedures in all food and beverage outlets.
  • Train and evaluate food and beverage personnel.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of all Food & Beverage employees engaged in providing meals and/or beverages to patrons and employees.
  • Compile, adjust and post personnel shift schedules weekly and as needed.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze reports, as assigned by Food and Beverage Management.
  • Ability to be a working supervisor to perform as Food and Beverage Server, bartender, and/or Cashier as needed.
  • Assist with interviews and hiring for positions within the food and Beverage Department, as directed by venue managers.
  • Promote positive customer relations and resolve complaints made by patrons and/or employees regarding food and/or service.
  • Assist with monthly food, liquor, beer and wine inventory, creating spreadsheets to track.
  • Assist with evaluating performance of all front of the house employees.
  • Use, train and monitor Agilysys POS cash system.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • As necessary, while acting as Supervisor. This includes scheduling duties and written corrective actions if needed.
  • Acts in the place of the manager when they are not present.
  • Relays all pertinent information to the Food and Beverage management team daily.
