About The Position

Shepherd's Hollow Golf Club is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to oversee our entire Food and Beverage Operation. This is a critical management position responsible for maintaining and elevating the high standards of service and quality across our a la carte and banquet divisions.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with at least 5 years in a management position
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • A calm demeanor and presence of mind under stress.
  • A strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Competitive by nature, with a strong initiative and cooperative spirit.
  • Natural aptitude and ability to effectively multi-task.

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive hotel and/or banquet experience is highly desired.
  • A Hospitality Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coordinate, and direct all Food and Beverage operations to meet daily needs and ensure consistent, high-quality customer service.
  • Be responsible for the hiring, scheduling, and comprehensive training of all staff.
  • Develop and maintain a strong culture of "lateral service," emphasizing that every team member contributes to the overall success of the organization.
  • Ensure that all F&B outlets are adequately staffed while maintaining budgetary constraints.
  • Enforce operational standards, systems, and SOPs to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality.
  • Manage and execute special events, including weddings, showers, golf outings, and house-run events.
  • Oversee the entire Beverage Program, including ordering, inventory management, and menu development.
  • Drive revenue generation in a la carte offerings and implement effective cost containment strategies across all food and beverage operations.
  • Be responsible for managing food costs, controlling inventory, and upholding menu standards.
  • Ensure that operational standards meet all sanitation codes, laws, food storage regulations, and loss prevention protocols.
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure the overall success and synergy of the organization.
