OBH 15-Year-Old Food and Beverage Cashier
About The Position
No prior experience required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive payment by cash, credit cards, gift cards or vouchers Ensure guest compliance with the park's meal plan policies, including verifying eligibility and addressing misuse when necessary Proper handling, storage and organization of all receipts Upselling products to offer the best experience at the park Excellent cash handling skills, making transactions can be fast, friendly, and fun Maintain product levels at assigned station; this may include chips, straws, condiments, cutlery, napkins and more Follow opening & closing procedures in assigned outlets, maintaining cleanliness standards Prepare quick service food and beverage items Assist with catering events, including setup, serving food and clean up Expedite prepared orders from the kitchen to the customer Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and team members Wash dishes following sanitation guidelines Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite, enthusiastic and expedient manner Assist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark Follow Park policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must be at least 15 years of age Ability to count money and make correct change Ability to operate a computer and computer software programs Ability to accept guidance and supervision Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership Be aware, attentive, and work well with others Ability to work in indoor and shaded outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection Physical Requirements Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time Must be able to lift, carry, move and/ or position items weighing up to 55 pounds We also offer a retention bonus of up to $500 for team members that average a certain number of hours per week during the qualifying time period and work through a specified date.
