About The Position

As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for guests at our dining outlets, providing excellent customer service while handling transactions efficiently. This is a great opportunity to work in a fun, fast-paced resort environment, assisting guests as they enjoy our accommodations, waterpark, mini golf, and other amenities.

Requirements

• Previous cashier, food service, customer service or prior hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle transactions quickly and accurately.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively deal with and resolve conflict situations, such as inaccurate check total.
• Ability to operate a keyboard and Point of Sale equipment and procedures to handle cashier functions.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service.
• Accurately process transactions, including cash, credit cards, and resort payment systems.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to enter orders and issue receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station.
• Assist with answering guest inquiries about the menu, resort amenities, and promotions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling guidelines.
• Assist with light food and beverage preparation or stocking as needed.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure a smooth dining experience.
• Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
• Balance house bank at the end of the shift.
• Retrieves and store bank per resort guidelines.
