About The Position

The Food and Beverage Outlet Attendant prepares, cooks, and serves food for customers in quick service restaurant outlets while delivering fast, friendly service. Responsibilities include taking orders, processing payments, stocking condiments, cleaning counters and tables, assisting with deliveries, organizing daily money and paperwork, and supporting food prep tasks such as cutting meat and preparing produce. The role requires following strict sanitation and safety procedures, maintaining a positive and energetic attitude, and working efficiently in a busy environment. This position also requires obtaining an Indiana non‑gaming license and the ability to stand, move, and lift up to 27 lbs.

Requirements

  • Must have an outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.
  • High school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a non-gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.

Responsibilities

  • Takes orders from customers and serves the order when ready.
  • Rings in the order on the register correctly and accepts payment.
  • Stocks and replenishes condiments, napkins, straws and other counter items.
  • Cleans counters, tables and trays
  • Helps put trucks away on delivery day
  • Will make sure that all money and paperwork is in an orderly manner everyday
  • Assists with daily preparations
  • Cooks food according to what is ordered by customers
  • Prepares produce for service.
  • Cuts meat.
  • Follows prescribed sanitary safeguards in handling all food and cleaning all surfaces.
  • Will abide by all safety requirements as outlined in the Safety Manual or as required by individual departments and/or job functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
