Sitka Fine Arts Camp, a leader in arts education, provides interdisciplinary summer programs for kids from around the US and world. Our programs including visual art, music, theater, dance, writing, and Alaska Native Arts have been recognized by both the White House and the National Endowment for the Arts for excellence and innovation in arts education and community building. Students who attend the camps come from all over Alaska as well as many other states, and the faculty consists of top-rate artist educators from all across the U.S. Students participate in five classes each day and explore areas of experience as well as try out new interests. The Sitka Fine Arts Camp seeks a flutist to assist in music classes and help with music department coordination during Sitka Fine Arts Camp’s Elementary, Middle and High School Camps. Excellent musicianship, commitment to working with students plus a passion for teaching are necessary skills. All the artists and camps are housed at the Sitka Fine Arts Campus, which is undergoing a remarkable renovation and revival thanks to the efforts of hundreds of volunteers and donors. Sitka Fine Arts Camp has a huge return rate for students as we focus on building a supportive community while exploring the arts.
