Why You’ll Love This Job Competitive Pay: $18/hour Awesome Perks: FREE pool or fitness membership for the summer Work Outdoors: Fresh air, green spaces, and plenty of sunshine Team Environment: Work independently and as part of a great crew What You’ll Do As a Seasonal Maintenance Crew Member, you’ll assist with a variety of park maintenance projects, including: Mowing, trimming, and landscaping Collecting and disposing of refuse in and around parks Maintaining fences, signs, shelters, and playground equipment Performing custodial tasks and other duties as directed This role is hands-on and active! You’ll be walking, bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and sitting in all kinds of weather. Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) is part of the job. Requirements
- Minimum age 18.
- Demonstrated experience in the field of parks maintenance or other related grounds experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Knowledge of accident prevention and precautions applicable to maintenance operations.
- Practical knowledge of mechanized equipment and tools in maintenance operations.
- Hours will be based on a 40 hour work week during the seasonal time frame of May – September.
- Must be available for weekend and holiday work hours.
