About The Position

This role is built for a senior individual contributor who wants full ownership of a product’s growth story. You’ll lead national sales efforts for Flourish Checking, QDS’s reward-based checking program, driving both new customer acquisition and expansion within existing client relationships. You’ll own the full sales cycle, operate with autonomy, and play a key role in shaping how Flourish Checking shows up in the market. The Flourish Checking Sales Director is responsible for the national growth of Flourish Checking. This is a senior, quota-carrying individual contributor role focused on: New logo acquisition (“hunter” role) with banks and credit unions, and Driving adoption and expansion of Flourish Checking within existing QDS client relationships. You’ll serve as the primary evangelist for Flourish Checking, owning the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and discovery through close—while partnering closely with internal teams to ensure long-term success. This role can be based near any major U.S. city with convenient access to a major airport.

Requirements

  • Proven hunter with a track record of new logo acquisition in financial institutions.
  • Strong national prospecting and pipeline-building experience.
  • Background selling SaaS, fintech, or banking solutions.
  • Executive-level communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • High-energy, self-motivated, and accountable for revenue results.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate features into measurable value.
  • Comfortable operating independently while collaborating across teams.
  • Thrives in a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to travel nationally for client meetings, conferences, and events (must live near a major airport)
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience selling to banks and credit unions.
  • Experience selling checking, rewards, engagement, fintech, or consumer banking products strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead nationwide sales efforts for Flourish Checking.
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new financial institution clients.
  • Build and manage a strong national pipeline through outbound and inbound strategies.
  • Position Flourish Checking as a strategic, differentiated solution that drives growth, engagement, and retention.
  • Sell Flourish Checking into existing QDS client relationships in partnership with major account managers and Strategic Account Executives.
  • Identify and drive expansion opportunities within current accounts.
  • Support cross-sell initiatives by aligning Flourish Checking with broader QDS solutions.
  • Become a subject matter expert on Flourish Checking’s features, rewards structure, value proposition, and competitive positioning.
  • Lead discovery sessions, sales meetings, and executive-level presentations.
  • Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders at financial institutions.
  • Clearly communicate ROI, cost-benefit analysis, and business impact.
  • Create, present, and manage proposals; negotiate pricing and contracts in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory considerations, and competitive offerings related to consumer checking and rewards programs.
  • Represent QDS and Flourish Checking at conferences, trade shows, and industry events nationwide.
  • Engage the financial services community to build brand awareness and pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity data in CRM (HubSpot or similar).
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline health and revenue expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, implementation, and account management teams.
  • Share market feedback to inform product evolution and go-to-market strategy.
