About The Position

SOLID Surface Care, Inc. is hiring a Floor Technician to join their team. This full-time position involves providing expert floor and surface maintenance for commercial spaces. The role is available for 2nd and 3rd shifts and includes paid training. Mid America Specialty Services has joined SOLID Surface Care and is currently transitioning.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must have 3 - 5 years of experience as a floor technician
• Punctual, team-oriented, and dependable
• Comfortable with physical work (walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs)
• Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts
• Able to follow instructions and meet deadlines
• A clean background is required for most client sites

Responsibilities

• Care for surfaces like carpet, tile, vinyl, stone and hardwood
• Follow safety protocols and quality standards
• Work as part of a team
• Occasionally travel (up to 10%)
