About The Position

The Floor Finisher I plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and aesthetic appeal of healthcare and social assistance facilities. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in floor finishing or a related field preferred.

• Attention to detail, which is vital for ensuring that all floor finishes are applied evenly and effectively.
• Strong communication skills are necessary for collaborating with the maintenance team and understanding the specific needs of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for finishing by cleaning, sanding, and repairing as necessary.
• Apply various types of floor finishes, including wax, sealers, and coatings, according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of flooring to identify areas needing maintenance or repair.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize finishing tasks.
• Maintain inventory of finishing materials and tools, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
