About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to join a collaborative healthcare team. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple medical-surgical units, delivering high-quality patient care while adapting to various clinical environments.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of current acute care Med-Surg RN experience
Must be currently working in a Med-Surg setting
Active Florida RN license or multistate compact license
Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocation
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
BLS certification required within 30 days of start date
Ability to float across multiple units
Completion of required background screening and fingerprinting
Candidates must reside within a commutable distance (less than 60 minutes)
Must be comfortable with a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
Flexibility to float across multiple units is required

Serve as a patient and family advocate , ensuring privacy and confidentiality
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and clinical evaluations
Develop and implement patient care plans focused on quality outcomes
Provide care across multiple units as part of the float pool team
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
