Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Medical-Surgical Float Pool Registered Nurse for a high-priority opening in Gainesville, Florida. This role is ideal for experienced Med-Surg nurses who are comfortable floating across multiple units and managing diverse patient populations. POSITION OVERVIEW The Float Pool RN provides patient-centered care across multiple Med-Surg units. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and strong clinical skills to ensure consistent, high-quality care across varying patient assignments. Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care Med-Surg RN experience required
- Candidates must be currently working in Med-Surg
- Must be flexible to float across multiple units
- Active RN license required (Florida or compact)
- Must obtain Florida license within required timeframe if relocating
- Nursing Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree required
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- Strong adaptability and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple patient assignments effectively
