About The Position

The Flight Operations role involves operating private jets in strict adherence to flight plans and FAA regulations, meticulously executing all flight phases from takeoff to landing. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive pre- and post-flight inspections of engines, fuel, navigation systems, and safety equipment, while also ensuring aircraft weight and balance are within limits. The pilot must continuously monitor weather conditions to assess and adjust flight plans as needed, utilizing cockpit instruments and visual references for safe navigation. Providing exceptional client service, addressing passenger needs, and maintaining confidentiality are paramount. The role also requires the ability to perform necessary emergency actions, coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure optimal aircraft condition, and maintain accurate flight logs, maintenance records, and incident reports. Regular training is essential to stay current on aviation technology, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

  • Valid FAA Commercial Pilot License with multi-engine and instrument ratings
  • Minimum 3–5 years as a commercial or private jet pilot
  • Strong navigational skills
  • Decision-making under pressure

  • Ability to pass FAA medical standards and meet health requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Aeronautics, or a related field is preferred

Responsibilities
