About The Position

The Flight Dispatch Manager maintains responsibility for the oversight of various tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of operations for students and staff alike. Responsibilities may include: - Manage and perform Flight Dispatcher duties to maintain currency in current flight procedures and operations - Oversight of daily flight ramp operations to include coordination and tracking of aircraft movement/repositions, maintaining current fleet listings, and assisting in the maintenance of ramp equipment - Creation and amendment of Flight Operations policies and procedures as pertaining to Flight Dispatch - Management of Flight Dispatch student personnel to include training, scheduling, and performance evaluation - Assist Manager of Flight Operations with tasks, projects, and other areas pertaining to the safe and efficient execution of flight operations Embry-Riddle: A Global Leader in Aviation and Aerospace With vibrant campuses in Daytona Beach, FL, and Prescott, AZ—along with a Worldwide network spanning roughly 120 global locations—Embry-Riddle proudly stands as the world’s largest aviation and aerospace university. Requirements

  • Bacehlor's Degree
  • Analytical skills with an in depth knowledge of information systems and technical expertise with Microsoft operations systems, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Internet end-user applications.
  • Administrative/Operations experience in an Aviation/Flight setting preferred
