About The Position

This position will be staffed with Fleet Mechanics and Fleet Service workers to perform a wide variety of diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles /equipment. The candidate will be exposed to and learn many different skill sets. NOTE: The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to this class.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in an Automotive Program
• Current enrollment with a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester (undergraduate level) or 3 credit hours per semester (graduate level)
• Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
• Available to work up to 25 hours weekly
• A valid Nevada driver’s license
• Legal right to work in the US, including authorization to work off-campus
