About The Position

Alamo Auto Supply is currently hiring a Fleet Outside Sales Representative who has a minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably with fleet or auto parts sales. Purpose of Position: Under minimal supervision, the Fleet Outside Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining and acquiring customer accounts and offers outstanding customer service as per Company standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience (Preferably in automotive fleet or parts sales)
  • Valid Driver License required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates efforts with others to achieve group and team metrics.
  • Engages in the extended mission and support group and team in achieving the team’s metrics.
  • Manages existing and assigned customer base and develops new business.
  • Maintains high level of product knowledge to maximize sales potential
  • Keep up with market trends and work with Merchandising to ensure we are up to speed with new products for the fleet customer base.
  • Follows communication protocols for requesting quotes, scheduling installation, work orders and any situation that may arise.
  • Keeps track of the status of quotes and orders to ensure jobs are completed within the time frames agreed upon and will communicate with customers as necessary.
  • Maintains positive communications with coworkers, customers and the general community.
  • Submits call reports on a daily basis.
  • Keeps constant communication with Service Desk and provides excellent and professional customer service.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
