Fleet Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Warren RECC is seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Technician at their Bowling Green, KY office. The candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and service on all Warren RECC fleet. This position requires time management for a demanding environment, welding and fabrication skills, proficiency with computers, and a pleasant demeanor when dealing with people. Warren RECC is a not-for-profit, member-owned, distribution electric cooperative whose mission is to ensure the community thrives. The company employs 160 individuals and fosters a family-like team environment with a strong community spirit.
Requirements
- Two years training from technical school or equivalent on-the-job training
- Over 5 years of experience in heavy duty vehicle diagnostics and repair
- Working knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines
- Working knowledge of advanced diagnostic and scan tools
- Must be proficient with computers and basic office software
Responsibilities
- Service and maintain fleet vehicles including various trailers and off-road equipment
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on Warren RECC transportation equipment
- Diagnose and perform repairs on both gasoline and diesel engines
- Repair or replace transmissions on light and heavy-duty trucks
- Repair hydraulic and air-brake systems on heavy duty trucks
- Use welder in fabrication and repairs on cooperative equipment
