Requirements

  • Hands-on experience as a Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician, or Diesel Technician
  • Experience repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, or heavy-yard equipment
  • Ability to perform tire replacement, repair, and wheel maintenance
  • Familiarity with container-handling equipment such as: Trucks, Top Handler / Reach Stacker, Large Forklift, Straddle Carrier
  • Ability to read technical manuals and perform diagnostic troubleshooting
  • Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in outdoor yard conditions and lift heavy components
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Korean is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct tire inspections, replacements, balancing, and repairs
  • Troubleshoot and repair Top Handlers, Reach Stackers, Large Forklifts, Straddle Carriers, and Cranes
  • Perform daily diagnostics, preventive maintenance (PM), and safety checks on all equipments
  • Maintain maintenance logs and report equipment conditions regularly
  • Respond to equipment issues in the yard and provide timely field repairs
  • Collaborate with the operations and yard team to minimize equipment downtime
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and OSHA requirements
