Requirements

Hands-on experience as a Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician, or Diesel Technician
Experience repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, or heavy-yard equipment
Ability to perform tire replacement, repair, and wheel maintenance
Familiarity with container-handling equipment such as: Trucks, Top Handler / Reach Stacker, Large Forklift, Straddle Carrier
Ability to read technical manuals and perform diagnostic troubleshooting
Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required
Ability to work in outdoor yard conditions and lift heavy components
Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Korean is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct tire inspections, replacements, balancing, and repairs
Troubleshoot and repair Top Handlers, Reach Stackers, Large Forklifts, Straddle Carriers, and Cranes
Perform daily diagnostics, preventive maintenance (PM), and safety checks on all equipments
Maintain maintenance logs and report equipment conditions regularly
Respond to equipment issues in the yard and provide timely field repairs
Collaborate with the operations and yard team to minimize equipment downtime
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and OSHA requirements
