Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Must maintain an active, valid driver’s license
  • Must undergo and pass a DOT physical
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Advanced organization and time management skills
  • Must be a team player and self-starter
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication
  • Must be able to operate basic office equipment such as keyboard, computer, scanner/printer, use of phone, etc.
  • Ability to deliver and maintain customer service with external vendors and internal departments
  • Ability to be provide timely response, with an organized customer service attitude
  • Ability to present complex information to an audience

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus
  • Understanding of DOT regulations and ELD use and operation

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and administer the fleet database using internal and external data sources
  • Monitors and records fleet activities, track repairs, vehicle weight, and maintenance information, external rentals
  • Assist in monitoring of fuel card usage, verify charges when alerted through WEX
  • Ensure proper use of company issued fuel cards
  • Process vendor invoices for fuel cards, vehicles, maintenance, glass, decals, etc.
  • Ensure repairs and maintenance work is completed according to organization and industry standards
  • Coordinate with drivers and operations to ensure vehicle availability and delivery
  • Maintain titling, registration, inspections, and renewals of fleet vehicles
  • Provide reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance, and fleet progress
  • Assist with collection and maintenance of DOT documentation
  • Perform administrative duties, record keeping, filing, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Ensure all company vehicle policies are strictly upheld
