About The Position

Hunton Services, a division of the Hunton Group, in Houston, TX (is seeking to hire a Fleet Coordinator who is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, coordination, and operation of the company's fleet of vehicles for the organization. This role ensures that vehicles are operated in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. The Fleet Coordinator will work closely with our lease partner to maintain vehicle records, and manage costs related to maintenance. Other duties as needed. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in 350 plus fleet management or logistics
Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, safety regulations, and fleet management software.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to handle budgeting, cost analysis, and reporting.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with GPS tracking and fleet management software.
Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
Experience in managing fleet.
Proficient in MS Office Suite including working efficiently with Excel spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

Oversee routine maintenance and repair schedules for all vehicles.
Ensure that all vehicles meet legal and safety requirements.
Coordinate with repair shops or in-house mechanics to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs.
Maintain records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Ensure that vehicles are equipped with necessary supplies and safety equipment.
Plan and organize vehicle routes and schedules to maximize efficiency.
Ensure the proper use of fleet vehicles and manage the vehicle assigned process.
Work in collaboration with the Financial Manager on fleet budget, including fuel costs, repairs, insurance, and maintenance.
Analyze costs associated with fleet operation and identify areas for cost-saving initiatives.
Oversee the lease of new vehicles or the disposal of older ones when necessary.
Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
Maintain and communicate accurate records for each lease vehicle, including registration, insurance, inspections, and maintenance history etc.
Ensure all drivers adhere to safety protocols, driving regulations, and company policies.
Participate in and conduct safety meetings to provide insight into vehicle operations, road safety and emergency procedures.
