About The Position

The Fleet Business Analyst Intern will play an integral role in supporting the financial and operational effectiveness of the company’s fleet maintenance strategy. Interns will gain hands-on experience analyzing maintenance and repair data, validating cost savings, and evaluating vendor performance against contractual commitments. This role provides exposure to cross-functional collaboration between Fleet, Finance, and external partners, and offers the opportunity to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across fleet operations. Internship Overview: 10–12-week program beginning Summer 2026 Full-time, 40 hours per week; Monday–Friday schedule Competitive hourly pay Where You’ll Work: This position is based onsite at our corporate office located 7440 S. Hwy 121 McKinney, TX 75070. What You’ll Do: As a Fleet Business Analyst Intern, you will analyze fleet maintenance and repair data provided by Cox Automotive to validate cost savings, performance trends, and service effectiveness. You will compare historical maintenance data against current vendor performance to measure realized financial and operational benefits. You will monitor, track, and report on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identifying variances, discrepancies, and potential cost leakage. You will collaborate with internal Fleet teams to address performance gaps, support corrective action plans, and provide data-driven insights during vendor performance reviews. Additionally, you will help ensure data accuracy and consistency across fleet maintenance reporting, while supporting ad hoc analyses and special projects focused on fleet optimization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
