About The Position

The Fleet and Facility Assistant is responsible for maintaining the organization’s fleet of vehicles and assisting with the upkeep of facilities. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, a commitment to safety and quality service. The ability to travel within a 100-mile radius as needed. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can manage tasks efficiently without direct supervision.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Good organizational, communication Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to pass a drug (hair follicle) and alcohol test.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in fleet maintenance or facility management preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and Upkeep: Perform routine vehicle inspections and facility walkthroughs to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
  • Installation and Repairs: Install seat covers, toolboxes, and replace taillight bulbs, along with other minor vehicle maintenance tasks.
  • Heavy Lifting: Ability to lift items up to 75 lbs as part of daily responsibilities.
  • Travel: Travel to various locations within a 100-mile radius to perform maintenance and repair duties. No overnight travel required.
  • Shared On-Call Work: Available for on-call assignments outside of regular Monday to Friday work hours to address urgent maintenance needs.
  • Facility Support: Assist with cleaning, inventory management, and other facility maintenance tasks as required.
