About The Position

Join Serco as a Fleet Administrative Supervisor! Serco supports a large utility fleet operating diagnosing and repairing medium and heavy duty diesel trucks. In this role, you can expect to: Administrative oversight of the work performed by mobile service techs in Indiana and Ohio. Role includes ensuring techs schedule planned and unplanned maintenance requirements and properly record labor, inventory, work performed and necessary work order comments. Review completed work orders and approve for closing. Provide feedback to techs on incorrect work order practices and unacceptable job times. Assist with scheduling and scheduling decisions as needed. Record and report service appointments missed by customer. Maintain and monitor a process to receive and collect customer work requests and follow up for completion. Monitor monthly planned maintenance and ensure plans are in place for 100% completion Maintain ongoing record of out of service fleet units, assess diagnosis and repair plan, communicate information to customer user and supervision on expected downtime and update when expected completion date isn’t met. Oversee the entry of work order information into the ARI system for payment. Communicate payment refusals to technicians and resolve administrative issues that delay payment Coordinate with customer POC for required pre-approvals prior to commencing repairs Support technicians with administrative /operational support for uniforms, phones, computers, tools & equipment, supplies, service truck support Coordinate with SOC on performance of subcontracted work Serve as primary liaison to customer on operational and administrative concerns. Communicate issues to upper management for issues that can’t be resolved or are outside role responsibilities Receive and resolve special customer requests, projects and storm support scheduling Communicate all issues outside of the scope of responsibilities to Project Manager.

Requirements

  • 5 years or more of industry related experience.
  • Requires associates degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Prior adminstrative supervision of mobile service technicians in a fleet support operation
  • Experience with fleet technology, diagnostic tools and fleet management systems required.
