About The Position

Fleet Mechanic supervisor for mobile equipment Fork trucks ,Hysters,Yale,Ramonds,Seegrids. Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining any type of diesel engine. Adjusting equipment to repair or replace defective parts. Diagnosing faults or malfunctions using testing equipment. Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery. Repair and replace damaged or worn parts. Properly diagnose malfunctions. May be exposed to outside weather conditions. Exposure to elements working in a truck shop, sounds, noise levels, dust, oil, industrial lubricants, etc. Overseeing staff and meeting client expectations.

Requirements

  • Previous Fork trucks ,Hysters,Yale,Ramonds,Seegrids maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
  • Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Minimum of 2 years direct supervisory experience
  • University/College diploma or a Trade Qualification as a journeyman in a relevant trade

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in service industry or contract services environment; experience in a healthcare setting is considered an asset
