Mercedes-Benz of Tacoma is hiring an experienced Reconditioning Technician to handle our pre-owned inventory.
This is a flat-rate production role focused on recon work.

Requirements

• Proven flat-rate technician experience (required)
• Experience in used car recon or high-volume repair work
• Ability to work efficiently and flag consistent hours
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Team-oriented with a solid work ethic
• High school diploma or GED equivalent; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience
• Available to work flexible hours & weekends.
• Ready to hit the ground running on learning new product ins & outs.
• Effective communication skills
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
• Basic mathematical aptitude
• Ability to apply and understand reasoning.
• Clean driving record, with valid driver license.
• Willing to submit to a background check & drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• European or Mercedes-Benz experience is a plus—but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and recondition incoming pre-owned vehicles
• Perform repairs across mechanical, electrical, and drivability systems
• Complete recon work efficiently to meet production timelines
• Identify needed repairs and document clearly
• Ensure each vehicle is front-line ready
