About The Position
Journeyman Automotive Technician (Flat Rate) – Mercedes-Benz $66K–$150K+ | Busy Shop | Up to $10K Relocation Mercedes-Benz of Tacoma is hiring an experienced Flat Rate Technician who knows how to produce, diagnose, and get work done. This is a production-based role for a skilled technician—not an entry-level position. What You’ll Get Consistent Work Flow: Busy shop with strong car count High Earning Potential: $66,000 – $150,000 based on production Relocation Bonus: Up to $10,000 for qualified candidates Modern Shop: Clean, organized, fully equipped facility Factory Training: Mercedes-Benz certifications available Supportive Environment: Advisors and leadership that help you stay productive What You’ll Be Doing Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and accurately Handle a mix of heavy line, electrical, and drivability work Maintain strong productivity and flagged hours Use factory tools and follow proper repair procedures Work closely with advisors to keep jobs moving What We’re Looking For Proven flat-rate technician experience (required) Strong diagnostic and repair skills Ability to consistently produce and flag hours Professional attitude and team mindset European or Mercedes-Benz experience is a plus—but not required. We’ll train the right technician on the brand. The Bottom Line This is a shop where good techs stay busy and make money.
