About The Position
The Resort at Longboat Key Club is seeking a dedicated and experienced Fitness Center Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our private club's fitness center. This role requires a strong leader who can ensure an exceptional member experience while maintaining a safe, clean, and well-equipped facility.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in a fitness center or related environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of fitness equipment and exercise programming.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise fitness center staff and ensure excellent customer service standards are met.
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of fitness equipment and the facility.
- Develop and implement fitness programs and personal training services for members.
- Monitor member usage and address any concerns or inquiries promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Manage scheduling and payroll for fitness center staff.
- Collaborate with management to promote fitness center services and special events.
