About The Position

We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused leader to join our team as Fitness Attendant. The successful candidate for this role will have a proven track record in providing exceptional service, is open to learning and responds in a professional and courteous manner to guests and team. This individual will engage with and provide an exemplary service experience for guests while maintaining a clean and well-organized fitness environment. They will work closely with the team to provide a clean and safe fitness environment for guests. They will maintain an energetic presence in the fitness area. Requirements

  • Someone who is available to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays
  • Someone with a High school diploma or equivalent
  • Someone with previous experience customer service experience
  • Someone with a strong desire to make an impact on other people
  • Someone with an outgoing and engaging personality
  • Someone with strong Computer skills
  • Someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Someone with the ability to work in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

  • You will enhance the guest experience while in the fitness center
  • You will ensure the equipment is in safe and operating correctly
  • You will greet and engage with guests, setting the example for customer service best practices.
  • You will maintain the cleanliness of the fitness center
  • You will have knowledge of the fitness area and the resort/hotel.
  • You will ensure policies are followed in all point-of-sale operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest
  • Help to resolve problems and “WOW” guests through recovery when things aren’t quite right
  • You will work closely with the team to ensure the retail store is kept clean and organized
  • Interact with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
