About The Position

The ideal candidate is an early riser and can work 5:00 am to 1:30 pm shifts 4 to 5 days a week, maintains a clean and safe fitness facility which includes equipment, locker rooms and Studios. The Fitness Concierge will provide 5-Star service when welcoming guests, explaining programs and activities, providing basic fitness information and anticipating Member and Guest needs. They will also be responsible for reporting and resolving complaints, maintaining attendance records and ensuring rules and regulations are followed by Members and Guests. The Fitness Concierge also promotes facility activities and assists with organize and set up of special events.

Requirements

  • Common knowledge and understanding of Fitness & Wellness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and possess a self-starting initiative.
  • CPR & First Aid required.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum of 2 years customer service experience. (Luxury property preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Degree or Certification in the Fitness/Exercise field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests as they enter the health club while using Jonas to ensure members are active and guest are current.
  • Cleaning equipment and general maintenance checks.
  • Circulating and engaging with members/guest.
  • Cleanliness, linen, and amenity inventory of locker rooms.
  • Execution, cleanliness, maintenance, and equipment inventory of all studio/fitness .
  • Administrative/Other: F&B requisitions, HotSOS entries, Jonas, Microsoft Office Applications, Email or other duties required.
  • Run new members through the registration procedure.
  • Provide members with information on the health club’s services.
  • Inform members of the limitations of the health club and ensure that they are followed.
  • Tour new members through the fitness center to familiarize them with the offerings.
  • Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and locked down at the end of the day.
  • Follow procedures for obtaining equipment repairs.in order to ensure safety.
  • Ensure amenity inventory levels are stocked and available at all times.
  • Suggestively sell health club’s packages, beverages and promotions.
  • Work in conjunction with support areas/departments examples; spa, golf, tennis, activities, membership, housekeeping and engineering to ensure a seamless operation.
