Fishing Camp Counselor St. Andrew's Parks and Playground, is searching for Fishing Camp Counselors for our summer Fishing Camp program. The ideal teammate is passionate about working with children, teaching basic fishing skills to a group and is excited to be part of a team that has enriched lives through parks, recreation, and wellness for over 80 years! This is a great position for fun individuals who love fishing and sharing that knowledge and fun experience with children 8 - 13 years of age. This is a seasonal position that runs during the summer break. Fishing Camp Counselors will start their day at the gymnasium at 1095 Playground Road prior to transporting the participants to the fishing location for the day, then back to the gymnasium at the end of a fun day of fishing. Participants and counselors will need to bring a sack lunch each day as lunch will be picnic style at the fishing site. Summer Fishing Camps will run Monday through Friday from June 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026 . Paid pre-camp training sessions will be on select dates between May 11 and May 29. These sessions will start at 6:00 PM and conclude once the program activities for that session are completed, typically by 8:00 - 9:00 PM. Attendance at pre-camp training sessions is mandatory, however, exceptions may be made on a case by case basis with approval from the Program Director.
