About The Position

Requirements

  • Cash handling or data entry experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with both internal departments and external vendors.
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately record daily revenue journals and assist with basic financial reconciliations and reports.
  • Support cash management and operational processes included but not limited to making bank deposits, conducting cash audits, and reviewing petty cash accounts.
  • Review accuracy of accounts payable invoices, ensure timely approvals from the department leaders, and complete reconciliation after payments have been issued.
  • Assist in preparing and organizing account receivable statements, identifying discrepancies, and resolving them with support.
  • Act as a liaison between managers, vendors, and coworkers to support the resort’s overall financial health and efficiency.
  • Ensure established accounting procedures, GAAP guidelines, and that internal controls are followed.
  • Maintain up to date vendor files, collect W-9 forms, and update information in the accounting system.
