The Student Success division at the University of South Florida (USF), is comprised of 60 departments, providing students with academic support, engagement opportunities, health & wellness services and enhancement of educational experience. This position is an in-person pre-audit reconciler, providing critical support to the Student Success unit in maintaining financial accuracy, integrity, and compliance with University and State requirements by performing comprehensive pre-audit reconciliation processes across multiple fund ledgers and supporting key financial documentation duties. The Fiscal & Business Specialist is responsible for conducting detailed monthly reconciliations of non-E&G fund ledgers, department ledgers to include expenses and revenues across all funding sources, and USF Foundation fund ledgers. The position also initiates corrective journal entries and cost adjustments, assists with electronic filing, and maintains professional, clear, and timely communications with both internal and external stakeholders.
