About The Position

Fiscal Assistant Are you thorough with a keen sense of accuracy in checking over documents, inventory and accounts? Do you have a knack for finding discrepancies? Does Forensic Accounting excite you? Are you a problem solver? Then this is the career for you! This position will fill the upcoming vacancy of Fiscal Assistant. This position requires a minimum of an Associates Degree in Accounting, or 3-5 years experience in accounting. A valid drivers license, pass a pre-employment medical examination and received a favorable background check. Hard working, fun loving department looking to add to the team, essential functions are Strong computer skills, with intimate knowledge of Quickbooks or related accounting software, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Dependable/Reliable worker with the ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision. Ability to prepare accurate reports free from errors. Demonstrate ability to be professional, courteous and proactive with coworkers and others encountered during the course of the job. Filing, operating general office equipment, cash handling, data entry, recordkeeping Maintain account balances, reconciliations, payables, receivables, and other correspondence Be able to prepare and enter journal entries Reviewing of documents for accuracy Confidentiality is a must This position is 40 hours per week Monday thru Friday 8am – 4pm. Requirements
