About The Position

Coordinates the Preschool Ministry First Impression Team while also greeting and directing at the information desks at Prestonwood Baptist Church – Plano Campus (“PBC-PC”).

Requirements

• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC-PC
• Experience recruiting volunteers and leading effective teams helpful
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Beginner to Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft programs
• Must have a passion for Preschool Ministry
• Ability to work a Sunday – Thursday schedule with flexibility to work Wednesday evenings
• Ability to work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time, while occasionally performing physical activities requiring moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and lifting up to 10 pounds without assistance

Responsibilities

• Recruits, trains, and oversees the Preschool Ministry First Impressions Team volunteers
• Ensures volunteer screening processes are followed
• Makes changes and corrections to staffing and member assignments for Preschool
• Enrolls prospects and attendees
• Encourages the greeter team
• Staffs and manages weekend, Wednesday night and church-wide events’ greeters and walkers in all applicable areas
• Exercises tact in receiving callers in person or by telephone and in appropriately routing their requests
• Other duties as assigned
