Firefighters/EMTs: Part-Time
About The Position
CITY OF STAUNTON Firefighters/EMTs: Part-Time The City of Staunton Fire and Rescue Department is currently accepting applications for part-time Firefighters/EMTs to work on an as-needed, substitute basis. Successful candidate is responsible for fire suppression, prevention, and inspection duties, as well as emergency medical service. Position requires HS diploma/GED and current minimum certification as Firefighter II and EMT. Completion of the regional firefighter test, or an equivalent examination, is preferred for employment consideration. Certification in Advanced Life Support and DPO/Aerial Ops are highly desired. Must be able to provide copies of current certifications and the written/physical ability test certificate upon request. Starting part-time pay $18.68+/hour depending on EMT certification: EMT-B $18.96 EMT-A $20.24 EMT-I/P $21.88 Open Until Filled. Requirements
