This position involves receiving service calls from the Service Resource Center, contacting customer representatives to ascertain equipment/systems problems, and performing service and repairs on various sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps. The role requires following troubleshooting procedures, referring to technical manuals, and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to diagnose and repair equipment. Effective customer service skills are essential for communicating with district staff and customers to ensure satisfaction. The technician will also electronically complete Service Acknowledgements and participate in a scheduled on-call rotation.
