We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Sales Representative with a strong background in commercial fire protection systems. This role focuses on developing new business, managing key accounts, and working closely with engineering and operations teams to deliver compliant, effective fire alarm solutions for industrial clients. This position has a salary range of $75k-85k per year depending on experience

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proven experience selling fire protection systems, with experience in commercial environments
  • Strong understanding of NFPA standards, fire codes, and system applications
  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales, project-based selling, or technical sales
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to read plans, specifications, and construction documents
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory

Nice To Haves

  • Background working with warehouses, manufacturing plants, processing facilities, or large-scale industrial sites
  • Experience with design-build or engineered fire protection solutions
  • Existing industry contacts or customer relationships

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close new sales opportunities in the commercial markets
  • Manage relationships with contractors, facility managers, engineers, and industrial end users
  • Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and scope fire sprinkler system requirements
  • Prepare and present proposals, estimates, and bids in coordination with design and operations teams
  • Maintain a strong pipeline and meet or exceed sales targets
  • Stay current with NFPA standards, local fire codes, and industry best practices
  • Represent the company professionally at client meetings, job sites, and industry events
