A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A FINISHER As a Finisher, you will perform a variety of finishing processes including blasting, powder coating, polishing, and occasional wet coat painting on metal parts/surfaces. You will be responsible for taking care of the equipment you use, including cleaning and basic preventative maintenance. In this position you will work with various materials and will be responsible to safely label, store, and dispose of those substances. Various hand and power tools may be used during the finishing process. Forklift operation and basic maintenance will be a part of your daily tasks to move equipment to/from other departments.
